Western Australia’s Largest Rooftop Solar System Officially Opened
Western Australia’s largest rooftop solar system was officially opened today by the Honourable Dr Mike Nahan, MLA, Treasurer, Minister for Energy and Multicultural Affairs at Broadway Fair Shopping Centre in Nedlands.

The 312 kW solar array comprises of 948 high efficiency solar panels and will generate enough clean electricity to provide over 30% of Broadway Fair’s usage. The solar PV system, supplied by Sun Edison and installed by Infinite Energy, followed a re-roofing project that saw the shopping centre’s entire roof being replaced.

Infinite Energy was responsible for the entire execution of the project. This included the design, engineering, Western Power application process, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar system.

Sun Edison and Infinite Energy presented us with a solar solution that made strong economic sense with the environmental benefits of reduced carbon emissions being a nice bonus.
