Annandale Public School is conveniently located just minutes from the Sydney CBD. In addition to providing mainstream education for Kindergarten through to Year 6, Annandale Public School has developed special purpose units that provide for wider community needs. This includes an early intervention unit for children with disabilities, and itinerant support teachers for hearing.
In order to cut electricity costs and help their school become more sustainable, Annandale Public School issued a tender for the installation of a 30kW on-site solar PV system.
Infinite Energy won the sub-tender to complete the solar works for Annandale Public School. In 2018, we designed, installed and commissioned a 30kW Canadian Solar and SMA solar PV system that will reduce the school's annual CO2 emissions by 38 tonnes.
