The CCA site located in Kewdale, WA, was one of the many sites to invest in a commercial solar PV system. After an in-depth and rigorous selection process, Infinite Energy were selected to install an impressive 692kW solar PV system for the Kewdale site. The design process carried about by the engineering teams required significant detail in order to receive official sign-off. The installation was also particularly challenging as the connection was at High Voltage, requiring Infinite Energy to install Neutral Voltage Displacement to comply with Western Power’s technical rules. In addition, CCA required weather monitoring equipment installed as part of their specification on top of the standard solar and grid/consumption monitoring.
The system will produce 1,112,000kWh's of clean, renewable energy, significantly reducing utility costs and improving their bottom line. On top of this, the system will save 878 tonnes of harmful CO2 emissions from being emitted each year, the equivalent of 3,273 trees.
