Formerly a tired local pub, Trafalgars Hotel or Trafs, as its affectionately known by the locals, reopened in September, 2013 after undergoing extensive renovations to become a modern and stylish city bar/bistro.
With live music every weekend, a family friendly beer garden, sports bar, and self-service TAB machines, Trafalgars Hotel’s electricity bill increased sharply after the renovations. To combat this extra expenditure, Trafalgars Hotel commissioned Infinite Energy to install a solar PV system.
Infinite Energy recommended an installed a 31kW system, which will give the Hotel a 25% return on investment, as well as a 26% reduction in their total electricity spend.
