Quintillian School had an existing solar system from a time when the state government was offering rebates to schools to go solar. With an existing 5kW system, the school was making marginal inroads into reducing electricity costs and with the monitored system data knew that solar worked financially. This gave rise to the schools board investigating the potential for more savings by expanding the capacity of their solar assets at the school in Mt Claremont.
Via recommendation from an industry contact, the schools board sought out Infinite Energy to conduct a feasibility on how to proceed. Infinite Energy assessed Quintillian’s existing situation and recommended an expansion of their current system to a full 30kW system – an additional 25kW. This has since delivered significant improvements in cash flow, enabling the school to redirect savings to other programs on the school agenda.
