Since 1987 Transmin has established itself as a leader in providing innovative, engineered solutions and services for the mining, processing and bulk materials handling industries throughout Australia and internationally.
The company undertook a program of energy efficiency improvements via investment in energy efficiencies across its operations and obtained government investment co-funding through the AusIndustry Clean Technology Investment Program. Infinite Energy provided assistance in the solar component of the submission to ensure the application was successful.
After seeking submissions to construct and commission two solar systems from the solar industry, Infinite Energy was chosen as Transmin’s solar installer for its demonstrated expertise and impressive list of references. This included Infinite’s ability to provide a clear statement of financial outcome through its unique analysis methods, giving Transmin certainty through the decision making process on the outcome.
Transmin then invested in two quality Solar PV systems at their sign manufacturing operations in Malaga, Western Australia. The two 40kW systems on their factory rooves enable Transmin to reduce its reliance on daytime grid power whilst improving lowering its carbon footprint through energy efficiency.
By deciding to go solar as part of its energy efficiency program, Transmin has demonstrated the strong cost management benefits of switching to a lower carbon intensive operation.
