Narrogin Council had an opportunity via the Royalties for Regions program to improve its municipal assets energy efficiencies. The council also sought the financial savings benefit afforded to them by solar power, while at the same time doing its part in reducing carbon emissions to satisfy their governance charter.
Through recommendations from other companies in rural areas, Narrogin engaged Infinite Energy to install their solar systems. Infinite Energy put a proposal to the Town’s CEO setting out how the solar projects would meet the three criteria of energy efficiency, financial benefit and carbon emissions reductions. The monitored systems are delivering over and above projected expectations and the town has delivered on its objectives for the projects.
