Mining & Hydraulic Supplies Pty Ltd engaged Infinite Energy to design and install solar power systems for its two premises in Perth. After analysing the electricity consumption data at each site Infinite Energy recommended that the installation of a 30kW system at one facility and 7kw system at the other would deliver the best investment return for M&H.
The management of Mining & Hydraulics had very positive results with solar power at a residential level and wanted to investigate whether a similar solution would be as beneficial for their business.
The most important factor to the management team when making the decision was whether they would see the same level of savings from solar at a commercial level that they could see at a residential level.
Using an investment mindset and illustrating how the business’s consumption would correlate to a solar system’s production, Infinite Energy was able to show that solar power was indeed a suitable substitute for the status quo.
On proof of concept and high quality installation, Mining & Hydraulics, which is a long-standing family-owned business in the mining and constructions supply industry, has enjoyed savings in excess of the projections made and has insulated itself against the mining industry downturn.
The systems allow M&H to to reduce their electricity spend considerably at each site.
