Universal Seafoods had been looking into and researching solar for some time and in November 2014 the company approached Infinite Energy seeking advice on the feasibility of solar PV for their Canning Vale and Myaree operations. Universal Seafoods were interested in the financial, shading and environmental benefits of solar PV.
Infinite Energy recommended, designed, engineered, supplied, installed and commissioned a 100kW solar PV system for the Canning Vale site and an 18kW system for the Myaree operation. Infinite Energy installed and connected real time monitoring systems for both operations that provide actionable information about solar PV generation, grid export, grid consumption and PV consumption.
Universal Seafoods selected Renewable Energy Corporation (REC) solar PV modules, and SMA inverters and monitoring systems as they were interested in high performance products providing secure returns long into the future.
