Hartfield Golf Club lies nested among natural bushland in Forrestfield. Hartfield is among WA’s favourite courses being voted Western Australia’s Course of the Year by professional golfers in 2011. The club caters to its members with a challenging 18 hole championship golf course, driving range, practice greens, and a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant. The club is mostly private, but it also opens to the public at certain times of the week.
Hartfield Golf Club approached Infinite Energy in June 2015 with a view to reduce the club’s electricity bills as well as its environmental footprint. Following a thorough consultation process, Infinite Energy recommended, designed, procured, installed and commissioned a 40kW solar PV array complete with a comprehensive real time monitoring system which logs and displays PV production, grid export as well as PV and grid consumption information.
